API download full data

Hello,

I work at IPLANRIO, a public company owned by the City of Rio de Janeiro. At the end of 2022, the JIRA product was migrated to the cloud. To this end, another type of license was acquired to use JIRA. At the time, I thought there would be a migration of data from the data center to the cloud, but that didn't happen.

Because of this, I am developing another domestic artifact to retrieve information from the cloud, and use it in another way. So that they are in line with the needs of the company's management.

I have already configured access and am able to consume the API. According to this: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issue-search/#api-rest-api-3-search-post

The point is, I want to say that some parameters suggested in the documentation do not seem functional to me. For example the maxResults parameter. If I try to assign higher values, the API corrects them, changing the value to 50. I think it's little compared to the expected volume of data expected in our operations.

Is there another way to download this information? I tried to do it via the product's user interface. I liked the option to download the result of a filter in XML, whether previously saved or not. It seemed to me that I would be allowed to recover a larger volume of data. At the same time, the filter functions available in the API have nothing to do with consuming their results. Just a way to know or edit such filters. That's not what I need. Furthermore, even though exporting the filters suits me, something uncomfortable happens during use: The dialog box to save the result to disk does not appear immediately, all of it is thrown into another browser window. This is bad, needs a lot of memory and is not sustainable. This way of retrieving information did not seem reasonable to me.

Therefore, I need the help of this support. Is there a more optimized way to recover all business information stored in the cloud? How can I do this?
