How do I know what unsaved changes I have?

William Moore November 16, 2021

When working on a lot of tickets, it is very easy to have one or more unsaved changes.  I have had several circumstances where my unsaved changes were very relevant to how other people need to view the ticket.

The fact that they persist even if the computer crashes is great, but being able to find all of my pending changes would be huge.

Welcome to the Community!

Jira issues are not expected to be length essays that people spend huge amounts of time drafting, it's an issue tracker, not a documentation system.  Hence there is no drafting function, you just post a change when you need to do it.

There is an extension for Firefox that will remember what you've typed into a (text) field in case of a browser crash, but I don't think there's a lot else available at the moment.
