Hi All,
Is there any recommendation for which database we should use for the Jira data center (MySQL or Postgres)?
Advantages or Disadvantages is any?
Currently we are using MySQL 5.7 which is installed in-house and we are planing to migrate the Jira to AWS infra and want to use the RDS Aurora.
Any suggestions if anyone using the Aurora DB for there Jira.
Hi @Glen2021 Yes, as mentioned by Ismael, for Aurora only Postgres is supported by Atlassian and for even on the self hosted Postgres is recommended by the community please find the below community post for more information :

I believe only Postgres as you are going to AWS Aurora.

For Aurora only Postgres is supported by Atlassian is true; on the other hand it is Open Source and less costly. AKTAR
