Syntax filter : object contains 1 specific word

sandrine1michaudel@gmail.com June 27, 2019

Hello,

I would like to create a basic Jira filter based on 1 word (Release) mentionned in the object.
Could you please help me ?

I have tried this : project = EPRIME AND "Objet de la demande"  is +"Release"

With many thanks,

Sandrine

Hi sandrine1michaudel@gmail.com ,

what do you mean by using the word 'object'? Do you mean a (custom) field?

If so, it depends of the kind of field where you want to search a specific (part of a) value.

I expect it is a text field where "Release" is the value or part of the full value. You can only search text fields with the ~ operator.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/search-syntax-for-text-fields-765593720.html

If this is too imprecise and you use Adaptavist script Runner, you can try to use "issueFieldExcatMatch" - function.

https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html#_issuefieldexactmatch

Let me know if this was helpfull.

Kind regards
