Send a notification in Slack when async planning poker session starts

Deleted user Sep 21, 2022

want this to happen -- When someone starts an async planning poker session in Jira, the people invited to that session get a DM and/or a post is put up in a Slack channel letting everyone know the poker session is out there. Is this possible?

In my screenshot I have a picture of someone creating a planning poker session... instead of invites being sent via email I want invites to be sent via Slack.

P.S. I know my screenshot isn't of the async planning poker tool... just using this screenshot as an example (with a diff planning poker tool).

Hi @[deleted]

As that is a marketplace addon to Jira, I suggest contacting the app vendor to learn if that is possible.  Without knowing the exact tool, it may be easier for you to do this than the community members.  Thanks!

Kind regards,
Bill
