Inserting an existing issue to a board

Hey,

My team and I are working both with a dashboard and a board. I have created a new issue but it appears only in the dashboard but not in the project's board. 
After trying to create a new issue on the board itself it appears on both of them.

Is there a way to see existing issues which were not created in the board?

Hey Victor,

They are all under the same issue type (task) and our board is divided into columns with the status on the issue (To Do, In Progress etc.) . The new issue's status is To Do.

Is your new issue represented by a new issue type?

Is the new issue mapped to the board column? Unmapped issue types won't show in the column.
