In business project in Jira, I created task in Timeline but no Gantt chart appear.

I logged work, start and estimate but it does not get reflected in Timeline.

How to proceed ?

could you please confirm on you are using Jira Cloud or Jira Server?
Jira Server does not offer a timeline/gantt chart out of the box while Jira Cloud does - however, your post was tagged with "Server".

Could you please help on this? Community members could then be more specific in their answers.
