How to create an issue statistics widget using statistic type as initiative

I want to get the progress statistics per initiative , how do I do this ? I think I can achieve what I want if I could select initiative as a statistic type for the statistics widget . Is this possible ?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Yes, it is possible.

  • Go to the Dashboard -> add "Issue Statistics" gadget.
  • Choose a saved filter which only returns Initiative issue type.
  • Select Statistics Type as Status.
