Export checklists from a team-managed project?

If I read the Checklists docs correctly, their export/import feature only works on classic projects? So there is no way to export the custom fields related to Checklists for a team managed project?

Migrating from a team managed to an enterprise project. I would hate to see all the checklists left behind...

Are you using a marketplace addon/app for Checklists?  If so, I recommend contacting their vendor from the marketplace site to ask this question.
