Does jql epiclink or parentepic work in nextgen?

Does jql epiclink or parentepic work in nextgen?

Nextgen documentation appears to say that parentepic is the way to return an epics children using JQL on a nextgen project. I can't get that nor epiclink to work. Help would be appreciated.

"parent =" should work as an alternative :)

I spent hours trying to figure what did I do wrong, and indeed a nextgen project "parent" works fine. It should be indeed documented!
