Hi @Martin Jack

Would you please confirm that:

  • you have completed more than 10 sprints for the Team-managed (formerly called next-gen) project, and
  • for the sprint burndown report, you indicate you can only see 10 sprints listed in the dropdown for selection.

Also, what problem are you trying to solve by looking back at the older sprints?

Best regards,

Bill

We have completed more than 10 sprints in a Next-Gen project. We can only see the last 10 and it does not allow me to type a previously completed sprint outside of the 10 in the dropdown.

Hi, Martin.  I just reproduced your results and saw that:

  1. the burndown chart only listed the first 9 sprints, ignoring all later ones
  2. the burnup chart only listed the latest 10 sprints, ignoring all earlier ones

#1 looks like a defect and #2 looks like the intended, designed behavior.  (Older sprint data often does not help teams as much.)

I suggest you work with your site admin to submit a defect to Atlassian support:

Thank you, Bill. I have submitted a feature request ticket to Atlassian. Normally we do not need to go back that far, but there are times it is needed.

Hi @Martin Jack, when you're viewing the burndown chart, there should be a dropdown menu above the chart on the left where you can select one of the completed sprints to report on. You can only report on a single sprint at a time using the burndown chart.

If not all of the options are displayed here, you can start typing the name of the completed sprint and the list of available items will be filtered down for you to select
