Users can log work from jira mobile app even on closed periods

One of our colleagues reported that he was able to log his time on a closed period using the jira mobile app.

Anyone faced this phenomenon before?

had a similar issue

Check that time tracking is listed on the projects configure field screen, Also make sure that the log time is available on the field configuration
