Service desk customer - portal access

Антон Кулиш August 31, 2018

Hello! The problem is this. It is necessary to separate the clients of the support service for the projects. That clients of one project could not see other projects.
If you remove the "Service desk customer - portal access" group from the permissions and add the client to the project, the client does not see the support portal.

How to split customer support services so that they only see their portals and do not see others?

Is it possible to work without a group "Service desk customer - portal access" ?

Hi there,

would this help?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/how-to-restrict-customers-access-to-specific-projects-only-in-jira-service-desk-cloud-815566896.html

Exert from the document:

  1. Create a Service Desk Project (e.g. ProjectA)
  2.  Create a user (e.g. UserA)
  3.  Give UserA the 'Service Desk Customers' Project Role for ProjectA (or any other Project Role, depending on your needs)
  4.  Go to Project Settings (lower left corner of the project settings page). In Customer Permissions select Customers who are added to the project
  5.  Now select 'Customers' in your project menu, and see that only the users that had a Project Role assigned in step #2 are in the list.
