I've added Initiatives as a new issue type to all of the projects I use as source in Portfolio, then I wanted to set a new hierarchy level to be able to link Initiatives to Epics. However I'm not able to select the Initiatives issue type from the dropdown.

  • When I started using Portfolio, I didn't have Initiatives setup as a new issue type.
  • I'm not able to select an initiative for an Epic in the Scope view either since it doesn't find any
  • I'm also not able to link Initiatives to Epics after I've added Parent Link as a new field, since it says "no match".

False alarm, I feel stupid. Didn't realize that I can scroll in the dropdown, all the duplicated issue types just confused me. I did end up finding Initiative after scrolling down so it all works properly now.
