How to use wildcards in Jira (Default search button provided by JIRA> Execution section>Test Player)

How to use wildcards in Jira search (default search button provided by JIRA below Execution section on Test Player)

In Test Run, my Test Cases are having names like "FDD2.3.14_TS1_Cycle_1" OR "FDD2.3.7_TS1_Cycle_2".  I want to do a wild card search where in I need to find "FDD2.3 * Cycle_1". I means everything that start with ""FDD2.3*" and end with "Cycle_1" and not "Cycle_2". This is with default search button provided by JIRA below Execution section on Test Player.

URL something like below

Test Runs  >  CFPAD-R2  >  Test Player

Tests.jspa#/testPlayer/CFPAD-R2

Please help and reply. Thank you.
