Help With Jira Server Slow Performance.

I'd like to request help in identifying a performance issue with Jira Server Application, turns out that the system gets very slow daily at random times and while the system is at a crashing state, the CPU usage increases significantly. Has someone had the same problem, could help with a tip on what was done ir order to resolve the issue. Appreciate. 

The application is installed in a EC2 Instance with the following features:

Intance Type: c4.2xlarge
vCPU: 8
Mem (Gib): 15
