E-Mail Notifcation despite Notificationshelper says different

Dear Sir or Madame,

we've got a problem with the email notifications from our jira installation.

Users receive update or change mails for different issues / projects that they dont want.

We use the default notification scheme and the users arent watching, arent mentioned, or edit there anything but got mails for that.

I've checked multiple cases of this with the notificationhelper. There all seems good because all checks indicate that this users wont receive any mails for these events.

I've double checked all things i know but i cant explain why these mails are triggered.

How can we go ahead here to solve this problem?

your sincerely

Is there any add-on that would send those emails?

It might be helpful to turn on the outgoing email log to analyze this further:

Thx for Answer but it wont help me yet. No there are no third-party addons active. I've turned on the log and watch it but how should that help? The Mailingconnection works fine that isnt the problem. The problem are the triggered mails that shouldnt exist.
