Can't link to my Github account: shows "no repositories"

I initially successfully linked my JIRA account to Github, but I ticked "import new repositories automatically", which is not what I wanted, so I figured the easiest was to delete the link and create it again.

Now it doesn't work any more.

When I try to link my Github account, after sending me to the Github site for authorization, Jira says "Failed adding the account: [Error retrieving list of repositories]". When I click on "Try again", it says "Account is already integrated with JIRA." Then my Github organization appears, but underneath it says "No repositories".

I triple-checked that I'm using the right client id/secret. I even deleted the Github app and created a new one and re-tried the whole process, to no avail.

Looks like the link between JIRA and Github wasn't properly deleted the first time...

What can I do?

Thanks

I just hit this - go back and re-create the DVCS connection using the Organization Name as the team name, and create the OAuth token under the Organization, not your User.  Do it from your ORG settings, not your USER settings.  Then it works as advertised.

Sorry for necroposting.

What do you mean by "create the OAuth token under the Organization, not your User. "? You can't impersonate groups in gitlab.
