Could not find "com.atlassian.jira.web.action.project.AddProject" Class in JIRA-7.0.11 API

Hi,

We are upgrading JIRA version from 6.3.X version to JIRA-7.0.11, as part of this upgrade process what we observed that, "com.atlassian.jira.web.action.project.AddProject" Class is not available in JIRA-7.0.11.

Is it deprecated or deleted? If yes, what will be the alternative class for it, we are not able to find it in JIRA-7.0.11 api. Due to which we are not able to upgrade our custom plugins

Correct, it has been removed, it was deprecated years ago and JIRA 7 finally removed a lot of deprecated code from the base.

You haven't said what context you're using it, but generally for project handling, you'd use ProjectManager - https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/server/com/atlassian/jira/project/ProjectManager.html

Hi Nic,

Currently we using JIRA 6.3.8 version, in which we have extended the feature of add project functionality by extending Addproject class. Please see below example of code snippet.

public class AddProject extends com.atlassian.jira.web.action.project.AddProject {

}

we could not find the this class in JIRA 7.0.11, so what is the alternative calss for AddProject.
