Greetings all. I'm looking at implementing Jira at work and I'm having a hard time confirming Jira is capable of a few key functionalities. Were a bit of a specific circumstance where I need to be able to schedule projects backwards and have dates automatically updated based on said dates. Our workflow/needs basically resemble:
Installation Start Date (changes occasionally) -> Shipping Date (calculated off installation date) -> Production (We don't have have official start times, just milestones based on project from shipping date)
Hopefully that somewhat explains our work flow. Basically I'm trying to figure out if I can automate all dates based on what is technically the start of our final phase and have that information project time line wise backwards through out the project. Obviously this can be done manually, but I'm trying to avoid that.
