For Backup please confirm that’s for the cloud product and how to use the tools?

1. Take backups of the JIRA database, using the tools for that database - the tools that come with it

2. Take file-system backups of the attachments directory.

With those two, you can completely re-create your entire JIRA system.

But, 3.  Consider backing up the JIRA installation as well.  If you only have the data from 1 and 2, and you lose stuff, you will need to rebuild a JIRA server and then import the data into it.  If you back up the installation as well, it can be a far faster restoration process.  But you don't strictly need the install.

Question:

Sounds like it’s for an on-prem jira install, we’re using the cloud product. Can you please confirm that’s for the cloud product and how to use the tools?

We can use any server for taking file system?
