Graph DB acceptibility in enterprise

I am trying to solve some problem in Jira using Graph Database (Janus Graph), I know this will require to setup Graph DB separately and write some plugin to sync data from Jira to Graph.

I want to know communities opinion on,

Is Graph DB is acceptable in enterprises?
What sort of management scripts etc (for Graph DB) I will need to provide for enterprise customer to use it?
Are admins trained enough to use maintain Graph DB's

And other similar story you want to share.
