Good morning. Good morning,
I would like to know if it is possible to share a confluence page from the "share" button for a GROUP.
Since so far I do it user by user, but it is very cumbersome.
Hello Angel,
I am not sure it is still possible to share Confluence Cloud pages with groups. In fact, I tried to reproduce the issue and I was suggested to share with users, teams and emails.
If I could speculate, I would say that it's because there is a bug report regarding the autocompletion for content sharing with groups (see CONFCLOUD-33616).
So, what I can advise you is to create teams with users you want to share your content with.
Hope it will help.
Thanks.
Boris
Thank you, the solution was to create a team and then share it with everyone.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You are welcome :)

Not an answer but feedback that this reduced functionality is an issue: You can not restrict content using teams, you must use groups - Meaning maintaining two sets of grouped data which is cumbersome and does not create a source of truth. Also groups can be synced from a linked directory, which is far better for maintenance. Teams are manual. Again causing an issue as to the source of truth.

Hello Sera,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
Thank you for your feedback. You are right, for the moment, teams are not as maintainable and efficient as groups are. But I think both meet different needs. For teams, the goals seems to be to permit people (inside and/or outside of an organization) to work together on some contents or issues, without having to manage product licensing purposes for example.
But the fact that teams are managed manually could be a serious issue.
Let's hope Atlassian will improve the team's functionalities in order to meet more needs! :)
