Hello everybody, in former versions we could implement a link from atlassion to a saved pdf - does that not work anymore? If trying to do so, I only get the option to link to another wiki-page or add a hyperlink, but no option to link do a document like word or pdf...
You made my day! This is way easier and the perfect solution for us! Thanks a lot!!! :-)
You can still insert documents on the page - so linking is not the only solution. However, if you have a centralized document repository in Confluence, and want to link from a different page to a document in the repository, links is the only way to do it in Cloud (currently).

Thank you very much! We usually used the links to own documents frequently, now we have to decide, if it is worth to create links of all these documents in order to link them in wiki.... did I understand it right and without link there is no "linking" possible anymore?

@Hilde Kuch-Kuthe welcome to the Atlassian Community.
The interface for linking has changed over the years, but you can still create a link to a document that is saved in Confluence. You will need to grab the URL of the document by navigating to the attachments on the page that that the PDF lives on and right clicking the file name to copy the link address. Once you have the link copied you can paste it into the link you are trying to create on the page. You can see the attachments on a page by clicking on the ellipsis (...) on the top right corner of a Confluence page when in view mode.
I hope this helps!
