Our designers sometimes create confluence pages that consist almost exclusively of H2 text and tables with screenshots.
which basically means I can't use the inline comment feature. Most recently I tried editing the doc to put a single letter into the content near where I wanted to comment (a tedious and clumsy solution) and I still got an error that the text was inside a macro and couldn't have my comment applied.
Is there a straightforward solution to this that I'm missing?
We are also having this same issue and would really like to see this fixed soon. It is very annoying to have to add inline comments on some other text that where it applies due to this issue.
I didn't see anything in the 5.10.x release notes that indicates this might be fixed already in one of the newer versions.
