We used to have a decent color palette for text colors when creating posts in confluence - now it is extremely limited (no yellow for example). Any reason for that? How can we get a fuller palette again?

It should also be noted, depending on which version of the editor you're using, that the new "restricted" color palette has to do with making the system friendly for color-blindness. There may be other open issues related to this that may warrant your vote if applicable.
