The legacy editor can no longer be used? Will we ever have only the new editor available?

I'm asking because if so, I'll already start converting the pages since some macros from the legacy editor don't show up in the new editor.

Atlassian hasn't commented yet on the end of life for the legacy editor, but I can't imagine it staying around forever.

We plan to convert all our pages to the new editor.
