Space permissions

Our space admin left the company

we need to add different groups into the space admins.

How do we do that?

we do have a user with overall admin access but she is unsure how to add permissions to the space as she is not showing as being a space admin either.

The previous space admin has also been deleted as a user from confluence cloud.

Confluence admin can Recover Permissions on any space in your site and grant access to other users/groups.
