Select access to certain products with G Suite?

Deleted user

We use Confluence, Service Desk and Jira and recently enabled  G Suite to manage accounts.

Is it possible to select which services a user is added when G-Suite syncs? We only have a small subset of users who need access to Jira and Service Desk, but we want everyone to have Confluence. Currently, whenever G Suite syncs, the new user is automatically added to all three products.

Thanks

Hi Peter,

The Default Application Access is actually controlled within the User Management section of your Cloud Instance rather than with GSuite; it's not currently possible to sync Application Access to GSuite Group Membership (Feature Request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-6304).

If you only want Users to have Confluence access when they're initially added, update the Application Access Defaults so that only Confluence is the selected application.  Please note that this does not retroactively change the permissions for existing Users and will need to be manually updated if they too only need Confluence access.

Cheers,
Shawn
