Reducing Confluence email notifications

Diana Polivko (Reliex) May 22, 2018

Hello, community!

Codegeist 2018 is coming, so we would like to ask you for a piece of advice :)

Last year we released "Email Digest" -  Jira add-on intelligently that aggregates Jira notifications and sends them as a single email digest at a scheduled date/time. Thanks for your support and upvotes we won the “People’s Choice” award.

This time we are considering to extend the functionality of the add-on and make it for both Jira and Confluence, so that you should be able to reduce or get rid of the default Confluence email notifications in favor of an aggregated digest email with all necessary content updates.

What do you think about it? Would it be useful for you? Any ideas, comments would be very helpful.

Thank you,

Diana

my colleagues are complaining that from everything I do in confluence they receive an email notification. This could be a reason not to use confluence. Can we arrange that people only receive notifications when a page is shared with them?
