I have created a space with a few pages. I would like for it to be visible by all. Right now I have to give specific permissions to users and some of the people that need to see it cannot be found in the user drop down list.

@Kimberly Weithoff Can you share the screenshot of the Space permissions so that Community members here can understand what you are trying to ask and achieve here, and provide more guidance accordingly?
Meanwhile, you can also check with your Confluence Administrator if the users you are expecting to assign Space permissions to, have been granted access to Confluence application/product already?
