Good day to all,
Atlassian's pricing policy has caused small businesses like us to literally hit the skids. On the one hand, a lot of valuable data has been put under the control of Conluence and e.g. Gira, on the other hand, with the new tendency of Atlassian "everything in the cloud", the license is so expensive that the budget of the small company is not able to cope with these requirements of Atlassian.
In this context, my question is: has anyone found a comparable alternative for Confluence and Jira?
If you have apps that are contributing to the price increase, it is well worth contacting the vendors to see if there may be a deal, or a way to reduce usage and hence save licence costs.
I would talk to all of the vendors, you may find that some have some overlap, so you can drop one app in favour of another.
Hello @juri
Atlassian also offers free trial versions of Confluence Premium if you arent sure about purchasing yet. In addition, to echo with the previous responses, you can also chat direct with one of our members to see if we could find the best pricing/plan that works for you, your team and your budget :)

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- I echo @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- with an addition. Are you working with an Atlassian Partner or buying direct from Atlassian? A partner can often look at your bill and help you shrink it through analysis of used/unused products and add-ons or help you negotiate a better rate with Atlassian.
Price increases are painful, but I hope you can find a way to stay on the platform (and in the community) that is cost effective.
Good Luck!

Hi Jurij,
You are probably asking in the wrong place, most of the Community is here because they use (and are going to continue to use) Atlassian products, so they won't be looking outside.
As a consultant, I've spent a lot of time migrating from other systems into Atlassian, and only had a couple of places where people have migrated off. There's loads of other issue trackers, git management systems, wikis, etc that you could go to, but it is noticable that most of the ones I've seen are trying to be Atlassian.
Rather than look for just "alternatives", I would take a step back and look at your (desired, not current) data and processes, then look for tools that suit them best.

Hello Sunny,
how can I contact a team member directly for questions about the price/plan?
