Is it possible to subdivide an instance of Confluence

We have a lot of data in our confluence instance.  It covers a wide range of topics and categories.

I have a new use case for our confluence instance.  But a primary part of this use case involves good search results.

I need a way so that when uses are accessing confluence for my use case, search results will be limited to pages entered for my use case.

Is there a way to subdivide confluence to have a separate section from the rest (especially for searching)?  Kind of like a mulit-tenant solution?

Turns out you can just select a specific space when you search.  This will work fine for me.

@Stephen Schaff also remember you can separately permission them in case you want some users to see space A and the others to only see space B.

I think using space categories (aka space labels) are great to group similar spaces to the same category.

Im not sure I have the right context, but what I always try and do is to break things into spaces and then teaching people to search by spaces.  So that each space is a category/product/theme...so that no other things are there, this helps a lot (and just in general ;)

Another alternative that could simplify this step is using Third-Party apps from the Marketplace.

Our team is behind Advanced Search, which allows you to create a search portal that you can customize by adding default CQL values so your users don't have to spend time and can jump directly to the results.

The use cases are multiple, for example:

• A search portal for your users that only contains Pages with the label "Support" in the space "Documentation."
• Or a search field in one of your preferred pages that only shows Blog Posts in the last 30 days.
