How do users viewing a page post to a blog outside of the comment function?

I am running into a problem with the blog macro where I unable to input a new post within a blog unless I click the heading of the blog, then click the edit function, and then add content for a new post on the blog. I was hoping there is a way for users to see the posts within a blog, and then if they want to add to the blog...they can just click something like a "new post" button to add to the existing blog. Would love some feedback.
