Encountering " Failed to register with host xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" error while developing an app.

Hi All,

I am trying to develop an app for Confluence cloud. But unfortunately, I see this error while registering for the add on,

Failed to register with host https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.atlassian.net/wiki (401)

Add-on not registered; no compatible hosts detected.

Can anyone please help me with this error?

Thank you!

Hi Charitha,

We have a dedicated Developer Community that might be good to check out for plugin development related questions. Since the topics are more focused, it's easier for other developers to watch the questions coming in and provide guidance.

Before creating a new post on the Developer Community however, it might be worth double-checking that your Cloud instance has development mode enabled - check Step 2 in the Cloud development Getting Started guide if you're not sure on that.

Cheers,
Daniel

Thank you for helping me out. I am now able to use the app in Confluence. But for some reason, I see the following error in my confluence page,
