Our intention is to create Status reports for multiple teams every week. Could we automatically create Confluence Pages and embed gadgets from Jira Dashboard by end of every week? This will give the automated report with the latest state by end of week, without manual intervention.
can you share code example of you you added a Jira widget (i.e. test report) into confluence page,
Thanks for the reply.
Any other alternative to do this?

You could use an external tool like Jenkins to create the page in confluence with the information of interest, all using REST API. This can be done periodically, by an automatic trigger or manually.
One of the teams in my organisation publishes an automatic release report into Confluence using a python script that is triggered when a release is tagged in git, triggering a Jenkins job.

Hi @Sheetal_Kadam ,
We use a page in every one of our projects for a status report. It has a set of rich filters (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214789/rich-filters-for-jira-dashboards?hosting=datacenter&tab=overview) that pull things like the project timeline, risks, overdue items, upcoming items, etc. It is live at any point in time because it is pulling the filtered data from Jira.
So it isn't a new report each week, but it would be accurate each week. Not sure if that is what you are looking for.
Regards,
Laurie
