Confluence access with login but without licence

Use Case

Let's say we have an external knowledge base that everyone on the internet can use.
Now we wont to create articles in this knowledge base, that only our customers can read.
The user comes to our knowledge base, see the public articles. Then he logs in and sees the other articles too.

Question

How did we can do this without using a Jira licence (analogue a service desk user)?

Confluence, JIRA and Service Desk are all different and their licenses aren't also different.

In your case, you're talking about confluence.

I don't believe you can have external users see articles and at the same time, internal users log in to see the same.

If you only want your customers to read your articles. Then you'll have to disable anonymous access which means only logged in users can see articles which they'll consume licenses.

Anonymous users won't consume any license if you make your space anonymous by giving them CAN USE permission.

I see what you mean. This means there is no way to restrict access to a Confluence page, except through a licensed user. Right?

Anonymous users don't consume any license yet they can be allowed to see a space by giving them VIEW permission.

Under Globally Permissions, give them CAN USE permission

We have the following products in the Cloud: Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence

I'm the admin overall.

I have created a space for anonymous and it works. I can restrict pages, but only to licenced users. My question is: How can I restrict a page without a licenced user.

We have a public KB (for the whole world), and some pages only for our customers. So we need restrictions. BUT we don't wont to buy a license for each customer to view these sites. A KB can be public (license free), so I think there must be a way to share specific pages to a non-licensed user... Or is this not supported?

You can only either provide anonymous public access OR named user accounts.

You could allocate a single account to be a shared account, with view only access.
