Automatically create Epic with Set Stories from Confluence Cloud > JIRA Cloud

Want to figure out how to do this in Cloud since newly moved there.

Seems to be a lot of addons and addons seem to be the only way but want to get confirmation.

I have a page template in confluence that a user fills out for a design idea. Once that idea is "APPROVED" (drop down) > I want it to automatically create an EPIC in the linked JIRA with a predefined series of Stories under that epic. 

What is the best way to do this in Confluence/JIRA Cloud?

I was able dig some information up and here's what I have found

You would need two plugins since the workflow plugin is only managed to have status of a page and does not do automation and for automation we will need another plugin

Comala workflow and Scriptrunner

Now, we have Automation feature coming in Confluence soon and as per this video it does contain basic workflow and issue creation features

You will have to wait unti the automation is released or go with the add-ons
