After migration, Confluence is extremely slow

First of all: I love confluence.

Have been using it for about three years now.

But after Spin Off migration, it became EXTREMELY slow. its being a pain to work with it, to search documentation, to edit it.

Any help on performance improvement would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by "spin off migration"? Could you tell us what you have done, and how it has been done?
