Field type suggestion: Checkboxes

In my opinion, it would be very useful to have checkboxes as a field type. Cause sometimes a tag is a bit too much if you only need a quick "yes or no" indicator. What do you think?

I spent an hour yesterday on this as I couldn't believe that checkbox/boolean is not there in basic types.

I'd love to see Checkbox (Boolean) column types as well! In the meantime, I'm using the "Tag" field type to track status/progress of items.
