The creation of Database-specific actions would greatly improve my chances of convincing the client to move from SPO lists to Jira Databases :)
One Jira Automation action I can think of with a wide range of uses would be 'Create entry in Database' or 'Update Database Entry' - we already have the action to create a Page in confluence in an automation chain, but being able to streamline the creation of a row in Databases would have a dramatic effect on the products overall adoption potential.
Does anyone else have any automation integrations they've thought of, or any workarounds they're currently using with Database to streamline the data entry?
Thanks for the feedback Dave, we will be enabling automation for Confluence databases in the future. I will share this example and feedback with the team!
Hi Divya,
Do you have any information about when Automation will be updated to support Confluence Databases? The "add entry" and "edit entry" functionality discussed above would be useful on our site as well.
Any idea when automation for confluence databases will be available? Very excited for this feature.
I´m looking for a way to update a date field in Database.
In other words I would like to show when a record has been updated.
At the moment it seems to be able to have a date field that has as default value "record created"
If not possible to directly choose a value "date when record was updated", another way would be to use a rule to update the date.
Would that be somehow possible ?
