Everything You Need to Know About Snyk & Atlassian

I’m part of the product marketing team at Snyk working with partners - including Atlassian. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is collaborating with the Atlassian team to help developers work faster, not harder.

Snyk’s developer-friendly security is a key focus of Atlassian’s Open DevOps initiative. To help you develop, secure, deploy, and manage applications as easily as possible, Atlassian introduced native integration of Snyk with its tooling recently and Snyk Auto Issues for Jira.

This collection of resources will help you get started with Snyk as you continue down your DevSecOps journey to bring developer-first security directly to your Atlassian environment.

The Snyk native integration with Atlassian - including your Bitbucket Cloud, Jira, and Opsgenie instances - lets you build automated and secure Continuous Integration (CI) & Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines to release secure software faster and more reliably. By aligning the two solutions, Snyk empowers developers to build software with security top of mind, rather than as an afterthought.

To get started, visit the security tab in the side navigation in Bitbucket Cloud to quickly add Snyk to your account, for free. Once the integration is live, you can monitor and fix vulnerabilities in your open source dependencies and container images with a free 30-day Snyk trial. NO credit card or commitment required.
