macos runner gets: A keychain cannot be found to store "x-token-auth"

Bob Swift _Appfire_ June 10, 2022

Pipeline stalls while cloning waiting for the MacOS dialog to complete. Manually cancelling twice results in pipeline completing successfully. Next build, same thing. What is the runner trying to do?

For security reasons, switched runner to a run under a separate user account.

Hi @Bob Swift _Appfire_ ,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the above problem.

Is it possible to tryout cloning the repo manually on the terminal.

Please check if you get the dialog box when you run the command and it waits for you to action it.

Regards,

Jayant

Thanks. Cloning from terminal works fine. It has to do with the 2 `x-token-auth` related things in the cloning script.

I have also opened https://support.atlassian.com/requests/BBS-187698/ but there is no help there either.

I ended up trying various things including installing on a different system where I discovered that the wrong user was being reference in starting the runner. So there was no permission to access the keychain.
