Severity update using rest api

Hi,

I need to update the severity field as it is going as default - Moderate,

using rest api. I am using below endpoint of Jira:

https://MyHost/rest/api/2/issue/ISSUE-KEY  

I could not find any documentation which helps me with , The Input data  format which is needed to update the severity.
