I am in a discussion regrading blocking use of Personal Spaces.
Do your companies block use of Personal Spaces and why?
What form of training do you use to on-board personnel and do you set up Template Personal Spaces for them?
I am very upset when their use is blocked ... but am open to hearing reasons for blocking them, ...
We had personal spaces but I decided to disable them and the reasoning was their spaces are not archived/deleted when the are leaving the company which lead to us having thousands of spaces by former employees. Another reasoning was that people clicked on Create from the home page in Confluence, resulting in adding pages to their personal space instead of in the correct team space.
I am all for personal spaces, but until there is a better way of archiving them when a person leaves it will stay disabled.
