Hi there! I’m Tom, an Atlassian Group Product Manager.
Building on our beta release of AI in the Confluence Editor, I’m excited to announce that we’re expanding our AI beta to the editing experiences across more of our cloud products. Namely, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Work Management, Trello, Bitbucket, and Atlas. You can now use AI to generate, transform, and summarize content that you’re creating or editing across these products!
Once activated by an admin, you and your teams will be able to access Atlassian Intelligence from the editor toolbar, or by typing /ai
within the editor. The functionality looks and works similarly across Atlassian products but we expect the way you’ll use AI when creating and editing content will vary between products. Here are a few use cases across the products we’ve made it available in:
Confluence: Write first drafts, improve existing writing, and summarize long-form content. See how it works
Jira Software: Boost efficiency by more quickly writing user stories, updating issues, and clarifying comments. See how it works
Jira Service Management: Summarize ticket progress, save time writing clear, concise descriptions, and craft more professional responses. See how it works
Jira Work Management: Generate ideas for any project, find action items, draft timelines, and write more impactful comments to move work forward. See how it works
Trello: Brainstorm new content, or summarize and improve what you already have in card descriptions and comments
Bitbucket: Summarize and/or improve commit messages and pull request descriptions
Atlas: Share more effective progress updates by shortening them to 280 characters or less
As we continue to develop the product, shape its direction, and iron out kinks during the beta, we’re excited to hear how you’ll utilize the feature for each product in your workflow! This is the place to ask questions, share thoughts and feedback, and discuss the new functionality with myself and the product team. Whatever you have to say - we want to hear it.
While this group will be used to discuss a variety of Atlassian Intelligence features as they become available, I’ll continue to share updates focused on this feature. Stay tuned for more!
Cheers,
Tom Gilbert | Atlassian Group Product Manager
