We are preparing to implement user provisioning via Okta, but there are pre-existing users in our directory. When we enable user provisioning, what will happen to these users?

Community moderators have prevented the ability to post new answers.
If your existing users have the same email address as users from your identity provider Atlassian will link those users and going forward you can only change them from within Okta. You can learn more about it in this KB.
