Minimum number of approvers for a merge to default branch

Edited

Hi!

I want to set the merge condition so that for a merge with the default branch, the minimum number of approvers is three. I can't figure out how to determine that the target branch is the default branch.

Help please.

Hi @kolka0000 ,

If you have ScriptRunner for Bitbucket available from the marketplace here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213250/scriptrunner-for-bitbucket , you could use the built-in Merge Check "Require a Minimum Number of Approvers".

This built-in Merge Check allows you to set a condition, so that it only runs for a specific branch.

There is an example in the docs here, that checks the target branch is the release branch for example: https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4bib/latest/features/script-merge-checks/built-in-merge-checks/require-a-minimum-number-of-approvers

Kind regards,

Robert Giddings,

Product Manager, ScriptRunner for Bitbucket
