Good afternoon. We had an error while parsing letters and creating tasks and comments. The email was addressed to a non-existent user. As a result, about 3000 comments and attachments from Microsoft Outlook were added to the task. The outgoing mail address and the incoming mail address in jira are the same. There is a limit in "Advanced mail loop detection" equal to 3. The question is - why didn't jira block the messages?
