How to flexibly configure field visibility in Issue

Edited

Hello community.

I now understand some configuration and some permission settings about custom fields in jira, but they don't meet my current needs.

I want custom fields to display permissions in the node state in the workflow.

I can add some attributes to a node or specify some user role fields as conditions for showing or not showing those fields.

Can this be done, and how should it be done?

hey @James Lebron ,

Since you put this in the Adaptavist section I assume you have scriptrunner on Server/DC?

If so, you could achieve this by creating behaviours (https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4js/latest/features/behaviours) this allows you to script UI conditions to show/hide fields based on what your script defines.
